Request transport costsA riding arena leveller is used for loosening, straightening and levelling outdoor and indoor riding surfaces. This maintenance of the surface is important to preserve the health of the horses and to ensure that the riding surface lasts for a long time.
A riding arena leveller is a levelling roller with which you can loosen, level and then consolidate riding surfaces both indoors and outdoors. Tines, rollers and/or levelling plates are used to create the optimum surface for the horses. Riding arena levellers can be attached to vehicles such as tractors, small tractors, quads or farm loaders.
The riding arena levellers from Alfako are available in different versions, each of which can be used for different types of ground in order to be able to work on any type of ground.

The "Premium" riding arena leveller is suitable for surfaces made of sand or fleece chippings and can be used both indoors and outdoors. It has two rows of springs that penetrate the soil and loosen it up. The crumbler roller then ensures that the soil is well aerated. Finally, the net roller smoothes the soil material. The integrated levelling roller ensures that the depth of the springs can be varied.
The working width of the "Premium" riding arena leveller is 2.05 m and the depth is 1.55 m.
The "Prestige" riding arena leveller was manufactured for riding surfaces made of chopped fleece and is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. Similar to the "Premium" riding arena leveller, the springs loosen the ground and the crumbler roller aerates the ground. Finally, the rubber roller levels and hardens the ground.
The working width of the "Prestige" riding arena leveller is 2.10 m and the depth is 1.25 m.
The riding arena leveller "Sand" is intended for soils made of sand, clay and sawdust/flour and can be used indoors and outdoors. With this riding arena leveller, the sand is smoothed as well as hardened with a levelling blade and tines.
The working width of the riding arena leveller "Sand" is 2.35 m and the depth 1.20 m.
The riding arena leveller "fleece chaff" is ideal for surfaces with fleece chaff and can be used indoors and outdoors. The soil is loosened using the springs and aerated with the trailing roller. Finally, the levelling blade levels and consolidates the soil.
The width of the riding arena leveller "Vlieshäcksel" is 2.35 m and the depth is 1.20 m.
Riding arena levellers can be used both in indoor riding arenas and outdoors in riding arenas, lunging circles or horse walkers. Different types of riding arena levellers should be used depending on the nature of the surface and riding discipline.
The riding arena planners can be used either for private use in the stable or for professional use at tournaments. Riding arena levellers are used at tournaments to create optimum tournament conditions and riding surfaces of the highest quality.
Riding arena levellers are usually suitable for all riding surfaces, such as sandy surfaces, sieve material surfaces, sand-fleece surfaces, geotextile surfaces, fleece-chopped surfaces and sawdust/flour surfaces. Different types of equestrian sports require different properties and therefore different ground care.

A riding arena leveller should be used regularly to pull accumulated material in the area of the hoof beat into the centre of the arena or arena and thus level the ground. The size of riding arena leveller you should choose depends on the surface area of the ground to be loosened and levelled. If you often have to negotiate tight bends, such as in a show jumping arena, a narrow riding arena leveller is the better choice.
Riding arena levellers are used by hanging either a car, a tractor, a quad bike or a small tractor in front of the riding arena leveller and pulling it over the riding surface. Make sure that your riding arena leveller is optimally adjusted to the ground and the conditions. The riding arena leveller should be set approximately 3 cm deep in the ground.
Only the top layer of the riding surface should be loosened to ensure a soft footing but a hard surface.
When in use, the riding arena leveller should be pulled in a spiral and offset in a circle from the hoof beat inwards so that the riding surface can be levelled evenly. Do not travel faster than 10 km/h over the ground to achieve optimum results.
Riding arena levellers cost around €1500 to €6000, but there are also much more expensive ones. The cost depends on the working width and the equipment of the riding arena leveller. It is important here whether the riding arena leveller has tines, a levelling blade, a rubber roller, a crumbler roller or other equipment.
